(she/her)

I started practicing ceramics in 2020 after a friend gifted me with a workshop. I instantly fell in love.

When I’m not in the studio I have a full time therapy practice where I work from an anti-oppressive and intersectional feminist framework with a focus on decolonizing mental health.

I’m constantly inspired by the people in my life and my own cultural practices to create pieces that remind me of our connection to the land, the rituals of sharing food and drink, and community.

I think about people and clay in much of the same way. There’s a beauty in our ability to evolve, shift, and heal in our process like the journey of clay from raw materials to a fired piece. Each step along the way is valuable and can challenge us to appreciate the messiness and imperfections. We can always reclaim and start again.
